BEETROOT PORIYAL


Ingredients:
1. Beetroot (Chopped) -- 3Cups
2. Salt -- To Taste
3. Urad Dal -- 1Tsp
4. Curry Leaves -- 6
5. Green Chilli -- 4
6. Asafoetida -- 1/4Tsp
7. Mustard Seeds -- 1Tsp
8. Oil -- 4Tsp
9. Grated Coconut -- 1/2Cup
10. Chopped Onions -- 1/2Cup

Method To Prepare:
1. First heat Oil in a pan and add green chilli, urad dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and asafoetida.
2. Fry them for 2min.


3. Then add chopped onions and fry till they become transparent.


4. Now add chopped beetroot pieces, add salt and let it cook on medium flame by closing it with a lid.
5. Cook till the beetroot becomes soft.


6. Then add grated coconut to the pan and mix everything well.


7. Let it cook for 5-10min.
8, Finally Tasty Beetroot Poriyal is Ready to Serve.
