KHUBANI KA MEETHA

Apricots are rich in Vitamins A, B2, B3 and C, as well as with useful natural sugars. The fruit is slightly acidic and more likely suitable for blending than for juicing. It is very low caloric and can provide great amounts of healthy nutrition.
There are numerous advantages of eating apricots, both fresh and dried, on a regular basis.
Healt benefits of apricot include improved function of brain due to high content of magnesium and phosphorus.
Magnesium can also help to normalize blood pressure very effectively.
Positive effects on our eye vision is one more important heath benefit of this fruit. Apricots contain good amounts of Vitamin A and can assist in improving vision.
Apricot juice can be used to relief increased acidity in stomach.

Ingredients:


1. Apricots -- 1Cup (I have used Seedless Apricots)
2. Sugar -- 1/2Cup
3. Water -- To Soak Apricots




Method To Prepare:
1. First soak the apricots for about 5-6 hrs
2. Now put the soaked apricots in a pan along with the water and get it to boil.

3. Once apricots become soft add sugar to it.

4. Now Cover it with a lid and cook until the apricots are totally cooked.
5. Then take a masher and mash the mixture nicely or you can even blend it if you want it to be smooth.
6. Finally transfer it to a bowl, let it cool and Serve it with Custard or Sweet Cream.

I would like to Serve this dish along with Custard.

Note: You can even use the seeded apricots where after the apricots are soaked you can remove the seeds from them and these seeds can also be included in khubani ka meetha recipe.

ASPARGUS DAL

Asparagus not only tastes delicious, but is also a wonderful source of nutrients for a healthy body and mind.

Asparagus is an excellent source of Vitamin K, asparagus contains a healthy dose of the strong antioxidant vitamin C. It can protect against cancer, it can help prevent birth defects, aspargus also reduces the risk of heart disease.


Ingredients:
1. Aspargus Sticks -- 10
2. Toor Dal -- 1Cup
3. Mustard Seeds -- 1/2tbsp
4. Cumin Seeds -- 1/2tbsp
5. Asafoetida (Hing) -- 1/4tbsp
6. Fresh Coriander Leaves(Chopped) -- 1/4Cup
7. Green Chilli -- 5-6
8. Salt -- To Taste
9. Oil/Ghee -- 2tbsp
10. Tamarind Paste -- 1tbsp

Method To Prepare :
1. First pressure cook the toor dal.
2. Then chop the aspargus sitcks into 2 inches pieces.
3. Now heat oil/ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Once they splutter add asafoetida and green chilli.

4. Fry for 2min and then add aspargus pieces.

5. Let them fry for 2min and then close the pan with a lid and cook on a slow flame till the aspargus becomes soft.
6. Now add cooked dal, tamarind paste and salt to taste.
7. Let it boil for few minutes and add chopped coriander leaves.
8. Finally serve the Tasty Aspargus Dal with Rice or Roti.

MUTTER PANEER

Mutter Paneer is a north Indian based dish consisting of paneer (cottage cheese) and peas cooked in a sweet and spicy sauce. Served with a variety of Indian breads like the naan, paratha, poori and roti. Few people also prefer to take it with rice or pulaos. Green peas and paneer are the most eye catching ingredients, colorful, wonderful texture and has got supercharges nutritional profile with delicious flavor.
Ingredients:

1. Paneer(Cut into Small Cubes) -- 1Cup
2. Green Peas -- 1Cup
3. Cumin Seeds -- 1tbsp
4. Onion(Chopped) -- 1Cup
5. Tomatoes(Chopped) -- 1Cup
6. Green Chillies -- 5
7. Coriander Powder -- 1/2tbsp
8. Chilli Powder -- 1/2tbsp
9. Coriander Leaves -- To Garnish
10. Salt -- To Taste
11. Garam Masala -- 2tbsp
12. Ginger Garlic Paste -- 1tbsp
13. Cashews -- 1/4Cup
14. Milk -- 1Cup

Method To Prepare:
1. First heat oil in a pan and fry onions till they turn slight brown color. Then add Tomatoes and cook untill they become soft. Also add Cashews and fry them.
2. Now let the get cooled and later blend everything into a fine paste.
3. Then heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, green chilli. Fry them for 2min.
4. Now add the Onions-Tomato Paste to the pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 5min.
5. Then add salt, coriander powder, garam masala, chilli powder. Mix it well by adding sufficient milk.


6. This is the time you can add green peas and paneer cubes.


7. Now let it cook for 5-10min by closing it with a lid.
8. Finally garnish with coriander leaves and Serve it hot with Roti.

50th POST / APPLE MILKSHAKE



Apples are often eaten raw; except for the seeds, which are slightly poisonous (see below), the whole fruit including the skin is suitable for human consumption. Apples can be canned or juiced.Apples are an important ingredient in many deserts, such apple pie, apple crumble, apple crisp and apple cake.



They are often eaten baked or stewed, and they can also be dried and eaten or reconstituted (soaked in water, alcohol or some other liquid) for later use. Pureed apples are generally known as apple sauce. Apples are also made into apple butter and apple jelly.


 Ingredients:



1. Apple -- 1
2. Milk -- 1Cup
3. Vanilla Ice Cream -- 3tbsp
4. Honey -- 4tbsp



Method To Prepare:

1. First peel off the Apple and cut it into small pieces.
2. Then put the chopped apple piece, milk and honey in a blender and blend it.
3. Now add Ice-Cream and blend it again.
4. Finally transfer the Milkshake into a Glass and Serve Chilled.

PANEER SWEET BALLS

Ingredients
1. Milk -- 4Cups
2. Lemon Juice -- 2tbsp
3. Sugar -- 1cup
4. All Purpose Flour -- 1/2cup
5. Oil -- For frying
6. Water - 3Cups
7. Cardamom Powder -- 1/4tbsp

Method To Prepare
1. First Boil the milk. Once the milk starts to boil then add lemon juice to that. 

2. Then you can see that paneer is separated from water.


3. Now using a soft cloth(I used the Muslin Cloth) strain the water and take the paneer into a bowl.

4. Then after it gets cooled add all purpose flour to that and make it like a chapathi dough.

5. Now make small ball using the paneer dough made previously.

6. Now keep them aside. Take water in a pan and add sugar to that to make sugar syrup.

7. Now heat oil in another pan and fry the paneer balls. Make sure that while you are frying the paneer balls, they should not change their color. Remove the balls before they change the color.

8. Once the paneer balls are ready add them to the sugar syrup which you have prepared earlier.

9. Finally Tasty Paneer Sweet Balls are Ready to Serve.

ORRANGE-CARROT JUICE



An Orange is a Hybrid Citrus Fruit which is widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical climates. Orange is probably originated in Southeast Asia and Cultivated in China.
 It is known as Chinese Apple. Like all Citrus Fruits, Oranges are acidic and are the great source of Vitamin C.



Carrot is a root vegetable, usually orange in colour though white, red, purple and yellow varieties exist. It has a crisp texture when fresh.
Carrots are used in a variety of ways, as salads or as vegetables added to spicy rice or daal dishes.
The most popular variation in north India is the Gaajar Kaa Halwaa carrot desert.




Ingredients
1. Carrots (Chopped into small cubes) -- 4
2. Oranges -- 2
3. Honey -- For Taste

Method To Prepare
1. First peel the oranges and blend them in a blender and extract the jucie from it.
2. Then blend the chopped carrots by adding sufficient amount of water and filter the carrot juice. You can repeat it for two to three times by adding some water.
3. Now mix both the juice and add Honey. Stirr it well and Serve Chilled.

POTALS FRY

Ingredients
1. Potals
2. Chopped Onions -- 1Cup
3. Mustard Seeds -- 1tbsp
4. Cumin Seeds -- 1tbsp
5.  Urad Dal -- 1tbsp
6. Red Chilli -- 4 to 5
7. Turmeric -- 1/4tbsp
8. Salt -- To Taste
9. Red Chilli Powder -- 1/2tbsp
10. Oil -- 4tbsp

Method To Prepare
1. First cut the potals length wise as shown in the figure and keep it aside.

2. Now heat oil in a pan. Once the oil gets heated add Urad Dal, Mustard Seeds and Cumin Seeds and let them splutter.

3. Once they start spluttering, add red chillis to that.

4. Now add Chopped Onions to the pan and fry them till they become transparent.

5. Then add a pinch of turmeric and chopped potals to the pan.

6. Add salt and cover it with a lid and let it cook until the potals become soft.
7. Finally  add Red Chilli Powder and then the Tasty Potals Fry is ready to Serve.

Serve it Hot with Rice or Chapati.
