MALAI KOFTA


Ingredients:
1. Paneer -- 1Cup
2. Potato (Boiled & Mashed) -- 1/2Cup
3. Mixed Vegetables (Carrots, Green Peas, French Beans) -- 1/2Cup
4. Finely Chopped Cashew Nuts -- 1/4Cup
5. Oil -- For Deep Frying.
6. Fresh Coriander Leaves (Finely Chopped) -- 1/4Cup
7. Green Chilli (Finely Chopped) -- 5
8. Salt -- To Taste
9. Ginger-Garlic Paste -- 2Tbsp
10. Chopped Onions -- 1Cup
11. Chopped Tomato -- 1Cup
12. Fresh Cream -- 1/2Cup
13. Salt -- To Taste
14. Tomato Ketchup -- 4Tbsp
15. Garam Masala -- 2Tbsp
16. Red Chilli Powder -- 1Tbsp
17. Cumin Seeds -- 1/2Tbsp
18. Cumin Powder -- 1Tbsp
19. Coriander Powder -- 1Tbsp
20. Turmeric -- 1/4Tbsp
21. Fresh Cilantro And Chopped Cashew Nuts -- To Garnish

Method To Prepare:
1. First crumble the paneer into a bowl. I generally use homemade paneer.
2. Then pressure cook all the vegetables.
3. Add mashed potato and cooked vegetables to paneer.
4. Aslo add green chilli, fresh coriander leaves, chopped cashew nuts and mix everything well.


5. Meanwhile heat oil for frying.
6. Make small balls for paneer mixture and fry them in the hot oil.


7. Fry till they turn into nice brown color.
8. Then transfer them to a plate consisting for paper towel.
9. Now our Koftas are Ready.



10. Heat 2Tbsp Oil in a pan and add chopped onions and fry till they become transparent.
11. Then add chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook till the tomatoes become soft.
12. Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and ginger-garlic paste. Mix everything well and let it cook for 10-15min on low flame.
13. Then let it cool down.
14. Once it is cooled, blend into fine paste.
15. Then heat 2Tbsp of Oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
16. Once they start spluttering add the onion-tomato paste to the pan. 
17. Then add garam masala, tomato ketchup, red chilli powder, salt, fresh cream and mix everything well.
18. Let it cook for 5min and then add the koftas which are prepared earlier.


19. Now let it cook for 10-15min on a very low flame.
20. Finally Tasty Malai Kofta is Ready to Serve.


Serve this Malai Kofta with Hot Roti or Naan...........
