1. Toor Dal -- 1Cup
2. Chopped Vegetables (Onions, Tomato, Carrot, Sweet Potato) -- 1/2Cup
3. Drum Stick (Cut into 1 Inch Pieces) -- 6
4. Salt -- To Taste
5.  Green Chilli -- 2
6. Homemade Sambar Masala -- 2Tbsp
7. Fresh Coriander Leaves -- To Garnish
8. Mustard Seeds (For Tampering) -- 1Tbsp
9. Ghee -- 2Tbsp
10. Grated Coconut -- 1Tbsp
11. Tamarind Extract -- 2Tbsp
12. Jaggery (Grated) -- 1/2Tbsp
13. Turmeric Powder -- 1/4Tbsp

Method To Prepare:
1. First pressure cook the Toor Dal, Drumstick and Chopped Vegetables.
2. Then heat Ghee in a pan and add Green Chilli and Mustard Seeds.
3. Fry them for 2min and then add Cooked Vegetables and Toor Dal to it.

4. Cook it on a mediun flame for 5min and add Jaggery, Tamarind Extract, Turmeric Powder, Salt, Homemade Sambar Masala and let it boil on low flame for about 10-15min.
5. Finally add Grated Coconut and mix it well. After 2min remove it from heat.
6. Tasty Sambar is Ready to Serve. 

Serve it Hot with Idly, Dosa, Plain Rice.
Ingredients For Sambar Masala:
1. Channa Dal -- 1Tbsp
2. Urad Dal -- 1Tbsp
3. Coriander Seeds -- 1Tbsp
4. Red Chilli -- 6-7
5. Black Peppercorns -- 1/4Tbsp
6. Cumin Seeds -- 1/2Tbsp
7. Oil -- 2Tbsp
Method To Prepare:
1. Heat Oil in a Pan and all the Ingredients and fry them till they turn into golden brown color.
2. Remove from heat and let it cool down.
3. Then blend everything into a coarse powder.
