AMLA (INDIAN GOOSEBERRY) RICE

Ingredients:
1. Rice (Cooked) -- 1Cup
2. Onions (Finely Chopped) -- 1Cup
3. Green Peas -- 1/2Cup
4. Salt To Taste
5. Mustard Seeds -- 1tbsp
6. Ginger -- Finely Chopped
7. Green Chillis -- 3 or 4
8. Asafoetida(Hing) -- 1Pinch
9. Amla(Grated) -- 6
10. Carrots(Grated) -- 1/2Cup
11. Turmeric Powder -- 1Pinch
12. Red Chilli Powder -- 1Pinch

                                               
Method To Prepare:
1.  Heat Oil in a Frying Pan and Add Mustard Seeds, Green Chilli, Ginger & Hing.

2. Then add Chopped Onions, Turmeric Powder and Salt. Fry the onions till they become transparent.

3. Now add Green Peas and sprinkle some water. Cover it with lid and let it cook.

4. Then add Grated Carrots, Grated Amla, Cooked Rice & Red Chilli Powder and Mix Well. 

5. Finally Transfer it to the Serving Bowl and Garnish it with Fresh Coriander Leaves(Optional).

Serve it Hot with Onion Raitha (Or) Cucumber Raitha (Or) Plain Curd.
