COCONUT CHUTNEY

Ingredients:
1. Shredded Coconut  -- 1Cup
2. Roasted Channa Dal  -- 1/2Cup
3. Green Chilli -- 4-5
4. Mustard Seeds  -- 1tbsp
5. Salt -- To Taste
6. Lemon Juice -- 2tbsp
7. Red Chilli -- 2-3
8. Asafoetida -- 1/4tbsp
9. Oil -- 2tbsp


Method To Prepare:
1. Mix Shredded Coconut, Roasted Channa Dal, Green Chilli and Salt in a blender and Blend it into a fine paste by adding required water.
2. Then heat Oil in a Small pan and add Mustard Seeds, Red Chilli and Asafoetida for Tampering.
3. Finally transfer the chutney into a bowl and add the Tampering and Lemon Juice to it.


4. Mix it well and Serve the Tasty Coconut Chutney with Dosa / Idly.

BANANA-SOOJI CAKE

Ingredients:


1. Banana -- 1
2. Sooji -- 1/2Cup
3. Sugar -- 1/2Cup
4. Baking Soda -- 1/4tbsp
5. Salt -- 1 Pinch
6. Milk -- 4tbsp



Method To Prepare:
1. First take a Bowl and mash the banana.
2. Then add Sooji, Sugar, Baking Soda, Milk, Salt to that and Mix it well.
3. Leave this batter for 15min.
4. Then grease a Steel Bowl and transfer the batter to that bowl, You can garnish the cake with Tooty Frooty(This is Optional)
5. Now cook it in a Pressure Cooker upto 3 Whistles.
6. Let the cake get cooled before you serve it.
7.  Finally the Tasty Banana-Sooji Cake is Ready to Serve.

RAW MANGO DAL

Ingredients:
1. Raw Mango
2. Mustard Seeds -- 1tbsp
3. Cumin Seeds -- 1tbsp
4. Toor Dal -- 1Cup
5. Salt -- To Taste
6. Turmeric -- 1 Pinch
7. Green Chilli -- 5-6
8. Red Chilli -- 3-4
9. Asafoetida -- 1/4tbsp
10. Oil/Ghee -- 2tbsp

Method To Prepare:
1. First pressure cook Toor Dal, Chopped Mango and Green Chilli.
2. Then heat Oil/Ghee in a pan and add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Green Chilli and Red Chilli.

3. Then add the cooked toor dal and mango to this pan.

4. Now add Asafoetida, Turmeric and Salt. Mix it well and Let it cook for 5-10Min.
5. Finally Tasty Raw Mango Dal is Ready to Serve.

MYSORE BONDA

Ingredients:
1. All Purpose Flour(Maida) -- 1/2Cup
2. Sooji -- 2tbsp
3. Sour Curd/Buttermilk -- 1/2Cup
4. Salt -- To Taste
5. Soda -- 1/4tbsp
6. Green Chill -- 5-6
7. Ginger(Finely Chopped) -- 2tbsp
8. Oil -- For Deep Frying



Method To Prepare:
1. First add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them well by adding sufficient curd/buttermilk.

















2. Now leave that dough for atleast 1hour for fermentation so that you will get soft bondas.
3. Then heat oil in a pan. Make small dumplings of the dough with hand and drop it in the oil.
4. Fry them till they turn slight brown color.
5. Finally transfer them to a plate containing the paper towel, so that the excess oil will be absorbed by that. Later you can enjoy the Tasty Mysore Bonda Coconut Chutney or Any Chutney of Your Choice.

METHI / FENUGREEK LEAVES PULAO

Ingredients:
1. Methi Leaves  -- 1Cup
2. Basmati Rice -- 1Cup
3. Cashew Nuts  -- 1/2Cup
4. Onion -- 1
5. Tomato -- 1
6.Garam Masala Powder -- 1tbsp
7. Green Chilli -- 3-4
8. Ginger Garlic Paste -- 1tbsp
9. Cumin Powder -- 1/2tbsp
10. Coriander Powder  -- 1/2tbsp
11. Salt -- To Taste
12. Oil -- 5tbsp

Method To Prepare :
1. Wash and soak the rice for ten minutes.
2. Then heat a tbsp of oil in a pan and add ginger garlic paste.

 3. Fry it for a min and add split green chillies and chopped Onions.

4. Once the Onions become transparent, add diced tomato and cook until they become soft.

5. Now add the Methi Leaves and continue frying on medium flame.

6. Then add salt, chilly powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric, cashew nuts and garam masala powder to it and mix well.
7. Now transfer everything to the electric cooker bowl along with the rice and add sufficient water.

8. Close the lid and allow it to cook.
9. Finally Tasty Methi Pulao is Ready To Serve............

Serve it hot with Any Raitha of Your Choice.

TOMATO RAITHA

Ingredients :
1. Tomato -- 2
2. Curd -- 1/2Cup
3. Mustard Seeds -- 1tbsp
4. Cumin Seeds -- 1tbsp
5. Asafoetida -- 1pinch
6. Green Chilli -- 2-3
7. Red Chilli -- 2-3
8. Salt -- To Taste
9. Oil -- 4-5 tbsp
10.  Fresh Coriander Leaves(Finely Chopped) -- To Garnish

Method To Prepare:

1. First heat 2tbsp oil in a pan and add the chopped tomatoes. Add green chilli and salt.

2. Cook them by closing with a lid untill the tomatoes become soft.
3. Then transfer the tomato paste into a bowl.
4. Now for seasoning, heat 2tbsp of oil in other pan and add chopped green chilli, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida and red chilli.
5. Once the mustard seeds start spluttering add it to the tomato paste and also add salt and curd to it.

6. Mix it well.
7. Finally garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve the Tomato Raitha.

METHI / FENUGREEK LEAVES DAL

Drinking 1 cup of fenugreek tea per day, made from the leaves, is said to relieve the discomfort of arthritis.
Fenugreek seeds are used as a medicinal in  Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Tea made from the seeds is used in the Near East to treat various kidney, heart, abdominal illnesses and Diabetes.

(d) It Prevents Dandruff & Strengthens Hair.


Ingredients :
1. Methi Leaves -- 1/2Cup
2. Toor Dal -- -- 1/2Cup
3. Tomato -- 2
4. Green Chill -- 4-5
5. Mustard Seeds -- 1tbsp
6. Cumin Seeds -- 1tbsp
7. Salt -- To Taste
8. Turmeric -- 1Pinch
9. Oil / Ghee -- 2tbsp


Method To Prepare :
1. First wash the Methi Leaves and pressure cook both methi leaves and toor dal together and keep aside.

2. Now heat oil/ghee in a pan and add Mustad Seeds, Cumin Seeds and Green Chilli.
3. When they start spluttering,  add the diced tomatoes along with a pinch of Turmeric and Salt. Let it cook until the tomatoes become soft.

4. Then add the cooked Toor Dal and Methi Leaves to the pan.
5.  Mix it well and let it cook for 10min. Finally the Tasty and Healthy Methi Leaves Dal is Ready.
Serve it Hot with Plain Rice.

PLAIN DOSA

Ingredients:


1. Urad Dal -- 1Cup
2. Rice -- 2Cup
3. Salt -- To Taste






Method To Prepare:
1. Fisrt soak urad dal and rice overnight in water.
2. Then Grind both of them by adding sufficient water into a smooth paste.
3. Transfer the paste into a bowl and add salt.
4. Check the consistency of the batter and add more water if need.

5. Leave the batter for one whole night to make the fermentation.
6. Then heat a Non-Stick Pan and pour ladle full of batter and spread it evenly. Add little bit of oil to roast the dosa.
7. Finally Serve the Hot Dosa with Tomato Chutney/ Coconut Chutney / Tiffin Center Sambar

OATS IDLY

Some of the Reasons To Eat Oats:
Oats, through their high fiber content help to remove the cholesterol from the digestive system and reduce the risk of heart disease.
According to Quaker, all it takes is 3/4Cup of Oats each day will help to lower cholesterol.The Soluble fiber in Oats helps to remove the "bad" cholesterol.
By eating Oatmeal you can have some benefits like,
(a) Control your Weight.
(b) Reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes.
(c) Reduce high blood pressure.
(d) Reduce the risk of certain Cancers.



Ingredients:


1. Urad Dal -- 1/2Cup
2. Oats -- 1Cup
3. Idly Rava -- 1Cup
4. Salt -- To Taste





Method To Prepare:
1. First Soak the Urad dal in 1cup of water for about 5-6 hours.
2. Then drain the water and blend both Urad dal and Oats it into a fine paste.
3. Now transfer the batter into  a vessel and add Idly Rava and Salt to it. Check the consistency of the batter and add more water if needed.


4. Leave the batter for one whole night to make the fermentation.
5. Then next morning, Steam Cook the idlys by pouring the ladle full of batter into the idly plates as you will cook the normal idlys for about 10-15Minutes.



6. Finally remove the idlis and serve them with Sambar/Coconut Chutney/Ginger Chutney/Any Chutney of your choice.



TOMATO BATH / SOOJI UPMA

Ingredients:
1. Sooji -- 1Cup
2. Onions(Finely Chopped) -- 1/2Cup
3. Tomato (Diced into Small Pieces) -- 1/2Cup
4. Green Chilli --3-4
5. Red Chilli -- 2-3
6. Ginger(Finely Chopped) -- 1/4tbsp
7. Salt -- To Taste
8. Channa Dal -- 1/2tbsp
9. Urad Dal -- 1/2tbsp
10. Mustard Seeds -- 1/2tbsp
11. Oil -- 2tbsp
12. Water -- 3Cups
13. Ghee -- 1/2tbsp
14. Lemon Juice (Optional) -- To Taste

Method To Prepare:

1. First heat Oil in a pan and add Channa Dal, Urad Dal and Mustard Seeds.

2. Fry them for 5min and then add Ginger, Green Chilli and Red Chilli to it.

3. Again after frying it for 2min add chopped onions and fry them till the onions turn transparent.

4. Then add diced Tomatoes and salt. Let it cook till the tomatoes become soft.

5. Once when the tomatoes become soft, add water to the pan and let it boil.

6. Now when the water starts boiling, add the Sooji by mixing it continuously. If u dont mix it while adding the sooji to the pan, it will form into lumps.

7. Then close it with a lid and let it cook for 5min.
8. Finally turn off the flame and add Ghee to it (this is optional) and leave it for 2min.
9. Now the Tasty Tomato Bath is Ready to Serve.


You can add Lemon Juice as per your taste if needed but it is totally optional.
Serve it Hot.........
You can also enjoy the taste of Tomato Bath along with any Pickle of your choice.
